These are samples I have on hand. The front is crocheted around a ring so that it stays firm around the tube and have ties in back for adjustment.

I am in the process of making different kinds of crocheted bands so that they will fit over different size tubes and have button or hook closures. Any ideas you have will be helpful.  I didn't realize there are so many kinds of trach tubes.

The bands below are $5.00 each

Fabric Trach Bands
Fabric bands can be made of anything so I don't know where to begin with samples.  The band can be as narrow or wide as you want although I try not to make them more than 1" wide.  In front there is a thin piece of velcro that goes into the flange and fastens in back of the band.  In the back there is 2" of velcro for adjustment.

Any bands that I have are only partly made because I need to have your measurement----from one flange, around your neck, to the other flange----before I can finish it and add the velcro.

Fabric bands are $5.00 each unless otherwise stated.
Trach Bands for Men, Women and Children--Both Crocheted and Fabric
This one has small lilac flowers on it and instead of velcro on the front it closes with a satin cord that goes around a button.
Something New.......HME covers, and I can sure use any ideas you may have!

Dorothy, from www.luminaud.com was kind enough to send me a sample HME so that I could figure out a way to cover it.  She says it is the more popular ""Atos" but I found it listed under Provox if you are looking for it in their catalog.

While working on the first one it started to look like one of my “Red Hats” so I followed through on that. J  The hats seem to be a good size but I will be making some flowers, too, now that I have the center part pretty well figured out.

Crocheted HME Covers   $7.00 unless otherwise stated.
